‘Wing Vallee’ Podcast Featuring Bill Simmons to Launch on Wildfire Radio
Bill Simmons, five-time Wing Bowl champion better known as El Wingador, has teamed up with his business partner, Joe Vallee, to launch a new podcast, aptly titled Wing Vallee, on Wildfire Radio.
So what’s the podcast about?
The hour-long podcast will be a predominantly open forum discussing the projects Simmons and Vallee are undertaking. Their most recent project has been their quest to secure the ultimate investor for their first El Wingador restaurant location. Other subjects will include interviews with the owners of local eating establishments in the Tri-State area and beyond, as well as the restaurant-themed segment The Buzz with Peter Breslow. Breslow, a maverick in the world of public relations, masterminded the opening of Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. In maintaining Simmons and Vallee’s sense of humor, additional segments such as The Craziest Things Bill Has Done For Food, and Wing It– an irreverent, rapid fire forum discussing anything and everything, will be prominently featured in the podcast.
Simmons is ecstatic
“It’s been a long and crazy road for me, and Joe hasn’t had an easy ride, either” Simmons said. “A lot of the damage done was self-inflicted on my part, but a lot of it wasn’t. This allows me to openly discuss my trials and tribulations before and after my return to civilization. At the same time, people will find that there’s more to me than just being a competitive eater. This podcast will also allow me to stay in touch with the wonderful Wing Bowl fanbase. They can hear about the projects and endeavors Joe and I are working on—and there’s a LOT we’re working on. We’d like to thank Joe Kelly, and the entire Wildfire team, for providing the forum to help make Wing Vallee part of the El Wingador brand.”
Wing Vallee will premiere on Tuesday, June 11 at 9pm EST on Wildfire Radio—Philadelphia’s largest podcast network. Click here to access the website.
